Product Pricing Update June 2023- FINALLY, some world commodity prices are returning to normal (is "normal" even a thing anymore?). We think pricing will stabilize now so we are immediately passing on that saving to you with a 12% decrease on MCT / O3 oil. If we can contract at current levels this rollback will be made permanent, although we are hoping for even further reduction opportunities.
PLEASE NOTE (5/15/2022) - Update 1/15/2023 World Oil Markets have begun to stabilize but pricing on Palm & Coconut remain high. We expect Supplies and pricing to improve Summer 2023. Supplies of MCT have been heavily restricted coming to the US out of the Asia and Indonesia, the only world source for MCT. Why? Russia's war with Ukraine has threatened over half of the world's Sunflower oil supply (Ukraine is #1 and Russia #3 producer). So..... European and Chinese food companies are substituting with Palm and Coconut which in turn drove the world prices of both to more than triple in just a few months. We have put through a temporary price increase to offset a small portion of the increase, we are absorbing the rest in hopes that pricing will stabilize at realistic levels later in 2022 (sooner if Russia leaves Ukraine alone) and we can remove some or all of the increase. We are sincerely sorry, our only other alternative was to discontinue the product which we found unacceptable.
Who would think Putin's terroristic war with Ukraine would reach all the way to our sporting dogs!!!!
